Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam and has Chinese roots, while Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots that go back to the American South. Olivia was only 2 when her parents separated. She was raised by her stepfather as well as her mother who was also a United States Air Force member. While the family lived throughout the world, her principal place of residence was Tokyo, Japan. In this period, Olivia participated in various local theatre productions. Then she was an Japanese model. Olivia relocated from her home in the United States back to Los Angeles to pursue the dream of becoming an actor. In the end, she was able to land a couple of small roles in TV shows featuring Hawaii lense (such such as Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna. She was also offered Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan. She hosts "The Daily Nut", "Formula D", and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. Following the TV show Beyond the Break, she has continued to surf. The black belt she holds is Taekwondo. She was only two when her mother got married again however this time to a US Air Force member. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather served. She studied journalism in the University of Oklahoma and also majored in Japanese drama, dramatic arts, and drama.
