Silk is a native of Canada. academic. Silk was born in Fredericton. Ilkay Silk was a well-known actor, director and producer who also taught in St. Thomas University. Her parents were Peter who was a renowned academic. Anna remembers certain memories she had of her childhood, like being a spectator at play rehearsals. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto in order to perform and advance in November, 1999. After a decade, she moved into Los Angeles. She met her soon-to-be husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training held in Los Angeles, in 2007. They were engaged in 2009 and were wed in a civil ceremony ceremony that December. On April 10, 2011 the couple renewed their vows at the context of a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism.
